Testing SSH Root and Admin Login

The SSH root log in of Linux web server has been disabled yesterday. Let’s test if the new configuration is working or not by trying to use root account to log in.

Try Using Root Log in Linux Web Server

Let’s use the root account to log in the Linux server. Hm… the root user is not allow to log in the server directly. The result is shown in the diagram below:

Try Using Admin Log in Linux Web Server

The root user is not allowed to log in. Let’s try to use the admin account to log in the Linux server. Yeah! The admin account can log in the Linux web server successfully. Moreover this is rather easy to switch to root user by using the command ‘su –‘. This is shown in the diagram below:
